What date should I RSVP by?

Where is the wedding at?

The wedding will take place at Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa in Punta Mita on January 17 at 5 p.m. It's an all-inclusive resort so all your food and drinks are covered in the room cost!

Please book your flight into Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR)—the resort is just a 30-minute drive away!

You can book your stay directly through our website once you RSVP. Once you RSVP, an automatic pop-up window will appear for you to book your stay.

If you find a lower rate elsewhere, the hotel will price match the rooms only, no bundle packages.

The resort features two distinct sides: Dreams and Secrets. The Dreams side is family-friendly, and guests staying here will have access to its bars and restaurants. The Secrets side is exclusively for adults and offers full access to the entire resort.

All wedding events will be held on the Dreams side, ensuring that everyone can join in on the celebration! Carlos and Amanda will be staying on the Secrets side, but feel free to stay on either side!

Dreams Side offers a daily rate to upgrade to the Secrets Hotel amenities.

Distinct Differences:

Secrets is adult only. Secrets offers more restaurant and bar options. If you stay at Dreams, you can't eat or drink at Secrets restaurants and pools.

Do I have to stay at the resort?

For guests not staying on property there is a fee to access to the wedding events. The normal price for a Wedding Pass is $125.- usd. You must bring your passport and payments can be done directly at the resort. Upon arrival, you will be directed to the front desk to check in. Passports will be kept at the front until departure.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the airport?

-Shuttle services can be arranged ahead of time through Amstar. We will provide contact information closer to the wedding. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or Uber upon arrival. Do not obtain taxi services inside airport. Better prices are available once you exit the airport.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The weather in January will be warm, with temperatures in the low 80s°F during the day and cooler in the evening. We kindly ask guests to dress to impress in formal/ cocktail attire/ suits. The wedding will be an outdoor wedding located at the hotel overlooking the water, not the beach, so feel free to wear heels or men's dress shoes. Bridesmaids will be wearing a butter yellow color.

Are plus-ones and children allowed to the wedding?

We have designated plus-ones for guests. This will be an adult-only event, so we kindly ask that children do not attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Amanda or Carlos. Thank you for understanding!

When should I arrive at the hotel?

We recommend that guests arrive no later than Friday, January 16 at the latest, but you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier and extend your stay! Carlos and Amanda will be at the resort starting Wednesday, January 14. For anyone who wants to golf, we will set up tee times Thursday, January 15!

Should I bring a gift?

Your presence is the greatest gift to us! However, if you'd like to give a gift, you’re welcome to contribute to our honeymoon fund on the Registry Tab.
